Clouds from a Crumbling Giant

This work in progress of "Clouds from a Crumbling Giant" delves into the decay and regeneration of human structures/forms/ideas, combining traditional Daoist cultural perspectives with theatrical performance-devising traditions rooted in the Japanese avant-garde. For this 2nd work in progress, Composer Dan Cantrell, working with Sound Designer Adia Ott and musicians Suki O’Kane, Jon Raskin and Edward Schocker will re-work the music generated last year for the pilot version at UC Davis and re-compose it as if it were a stand-alone piece of music. The movement and music scores will exist as both independent and intertwined entities.
