The Darling Song Cycle is a new series of original songs being composed by Edward Schocker, with lyrics by Greg Giovanni. Inspired by the Darling Family in J.M. Barrie’s classic Peter Pan, the subject matter from this domestic drama ranges from funny to sad to absurd. The work will be premiered in Oakland and San Francisco in December 2012.

Song Highlight:
The Sewing -sung by Mrs. Darling in the story of Peter Pan. The children’s mother is patiently waiting by the window for her children to return from Neverland. As she’s waiting she sings this song while sewing and mending her children’s clothe.
